Ground Directions: Turn onto M54 off M6 Northbound and leave at Junction 2. Turn left onto A449 to Wolverhampton. Go to 2nd set of traffic lights and turn right into slip road. Entrance to Sports ground is 50 yards on the left.
An innovative idea for stand pictured here at Goodrich Football Club. A 40 foot lorry trailer conversion. Not only a great idea but also a possible cheap way for other clubs struggling for money to cheaply obtain a stand for their ground. Trailers such as this can either be picked up for a few hundred pound or donated by a local sponsor.
The Club first joined the West Midlands League in 1983 as Aero Lucas, they gained promotion to the First Division within 3 years, however the club resigned from the league in 1989. They once again rejoined the West Midlands League in 1997 as Lucas Flight Controls, and enjoyed a successful period in Division One. 
A Change in company ownership in 2003, saw the Club (by now called Goodrich Sports) successfully win the First Division North title, therefore winning promotion to the Premier Division of the West Midlands (Regional) League. The League's Management Committee gave them permission to groundshare with Wednesfield which gave Goodrich time to install a new grandstand and erect floodlights.
As agreed the club returned home for the start of the 2005 / 2006 season having now established themselves as a new member of the Premier Division, with an aim to buid solid foundations for future development.
The club now have a ground and in particular a playing surface which is the envy of the West Midlands League.
