Ground Directions: Leave the M42 at junction 10 and turn left onto the A5 towards Brownhills &Cannock. Take the 4th exit for Sutton Coldfield (A453). At the T-junction at the top of the slip road turn left. When you reach the traffic lights (Monarch garage on right), turn left, then take 3rd turning on right into Price Avenue, ground is about 400 yards on right, opposite left hand turn.
Mile Oak Rovers were originally formed in 1958 and they had their headquarters at the Mile Oak hotel. They played at various grounds until1967 when they moved to their present ground at Price Avenue. Mile Oak Rovers have also played in various leagues including the Southern League in the early 1980s. This proved to be a disastrous move and they soon returned to the Midland Combination.
Due to financial problems they dropped out of the Midland Combination in 1993/94 and managed to regroup, returning to the Combination for the 1998/99 campaign. Although things on the pitch were going well a lack of people behind the scenes forced the club to fold at the end of 2001/02. After just one season without a club in Mile Oak they re-formed for the 2003/04 season and rejoined the Midland Combination, they now play in Division One.
