Star Stone Walks Out on Rugby Town (February 13, 2008)
More bad news for Southern League Rugby Town this week after it was revealed that star striker David Stone has walked out on the club after a training ground bust up at Butlin Road.
In a story leaked to the local press a source inside the club revealed that Stone and Tom Breward had a 'set to' at a recent training session and Stone has been banned from Butlin Road by new manager Rod Brown. Stone has since announced he no longer wishes to play for the club.
With Rugby's recent relegation form this is the last thing the club needed as new manger Brown still looks for his first league win as Rugby manager. Click here to return to the News page
