Rugby Town Lose Another Manager (September 05, 2008)
Rod Brown has walked out on shambolic Southern League side Rugby Town to return to promotion hunting Bromsgrove Rovers.
After one of the worse starts to a season in their history Rugby Town currently sit at the foot of the Southern League Premier Division with just two points from their first six games. Having scored just two goals all season crowds and morale at Butlin Road have also reached new lows.
Interference from the chairman in team selection and a unrealistically low budget are rumoured to be among the reasons why Brown has decided to drop a division to manage his former club.
