Leek get two more making nine new signings in three weeks! (November 05, 2007)
UniBond League Premier Division club Leek Town`s manager Paul Moore’s rebuilding plans continue, snapping up two more players, bringing to nine the number he has captured since his re-appointment as manager three weeks ago.
Former Polish `A` international, Sebastian Krupa signed for the club in time to make his debut at Whitby Town on Saturday after playing little football this season.
Moore has also moved to capture young centre back Paul Johnson from Wythenshawe Amateurs and he has been immediately loaned out to North West Counties League neighbours Newcastle Town to get matches under his belt.
The Blues boss is still looking to sign a goalkeeper to push Matt Cooper for his place after Prescot keeper Richie Mottram recently turned down a move back to Harrison Park.
Despite signing no fewer than nine players since he took over three weeks ago, Moore’s search for players continues.
The Blues’ boss has been talking to a Coca-Cola League club looking to sign a defender after identifying a need to strengthen in that area.
Moore is concerned at his leaky defence and has vowed to bring in players capable of improving things at the back. Click here to return to the News page
